HOLY BAPTISM, the full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ's Body the Church is administered within the Sunday Eucharist on the following Sundays during the calendar year:  the First Sunday after the Epiphany, the Second Sunday of Easter, Pentecost Day, the Sunday after All Saints' Day, the day of the Bishop's annual visitation.  An additional date is provided during the summer.  Private baptism, except in the case of an emergency, is discouraged.  Arrangements for baptisms should be made well in advance by contacting the parish office.
