 Guidelines for Financial Assistance
1. Does the recipient deliver goods or services to those in a manner consistent with Council theme, Council focus areas and Vestry mission guidelines?
2. Does the recipient have St. Thomas' parishioners directly and actively involved?
3. Does the proposed disbursement develop relationships with other parishes within the Diocese or within the Episcopal Church?
4. Doe the proposed disbursement contribute toward developing interfaith understanding?
5. Does the proposed disbursement improve the community of Rochester?
6. Does the proposed disbursement provide assistance to the needy in an area of the world that is of particular interest to a group of St. Thomas' parishioners?
7. Will the recipient organization visit St. Thomas to educate the congregation on their mission and the impact of any funding received?
8. Will the recipient organization prepare a written application requesting funds and submit its most recent financial statements?
9. Will the disbursement be used in a timely manner that can produce measurable results that can be reported back to St Thomas?
